You will
run out of vacation days before you run out of things to do in
Cancun. Naturally, the Beaches are the biggest draw in Cancun with
their soft, white sand and brilliant turquoise-blue water.
For fun in and on the water, Cancun offers boats trips and
rentals, jet skis, and world-class scuba and snorkeling.
Cancun's numerous eco and water parks give you the opportunity
to visit gorgeous natural environments, explore nature, swim with
dolphins, and take wild rides on water slides.
Cenotes
are caves in underground rivers, and there are hundreds of them in
the Yucatan Peninsula. They make for fantastic places to swim,
snorkel, and dive in the underwater caves.
For fun on land, Cancun offers horseback riding, golf courses
and tennis courts, as well as moped and bike rentals.
Looking for some local cultural activities? Take part in
Cancun's many Cultural Activities, such as bullfights, folkloric
ballets, holidays and special events in Cancun, and much more.
If
kickin' back is your thing, try Isla Mujeres. Located just eight
miles across the Bahia de Mujeres from Cancun, Isla Mujeres is
only 5 miles long and half a mile wide.
No visit to the area would be complete without visiting at
least one of the numerous Mayan Ruins scattered throughout the
Yucatán Peninsula. Some can be found right in Cancun and others
are just a day trip away.
Cancun also offers a truly dazzling assortment
of dining options. Yucatán cooking has gained a reputation as one
of the finest in all of Mexico with a combination of Mayan and
European
ingredients, a tasty byproduct of the Spanish Conquest.
And nightlife in Cancun is abundant, more than in
any other resort in Mexico. If you like nightclubs, in Cancun
the party ends only after the sun makes its entrance and marks the
beginning of a new day.
If shopping's your thing, Cancun has it all.
From the typical tourist T-shirt shops, to designer clothing and
fine jewelry, to markets filled with authentic Mexican
handicrafts, Cancun offers visitors a complete shopping
experience.

SCHOOL
EXCURSIONS
The school can arrange optional excursions, such as restaurant
outings, watersports, and visits to local and regional attractions
if there are a minimum of six students interested in a particular
activity and would like to go as a group. If there are not enough
students signed up to offer an activity, the school can assist you
in making arrangements directly with a local tour operator.
