Registration Fee

US$ 65
Required with all new registrations. The one-time registration fee is not applicable to tuition.
Textbook

Optional. US$ 15
The use of a textbook is free. If you would like to write in it or take it home with you, you may purchase it at the school. Other classroom materials are free of charge.
Housing Deposit

Applicable only for student housing options that must be booked through the school. Varies depending on housing option. Homestays require full payment in advance.

  • If taken in addition to group classes: $15 USD per hour
  • If taken alone, without group classes: $20 USD per hour (minimum two hours per tutoring session).
*Shared Tutoring
  • $12 USD per person, per hour (minimum two hours per tutoring session).
Medical Spanish
  • If taken in addition to group classes: $15 USD per hour
  • If taken alone, without group classes: $20 USD per hour (minimum two hours per tutoring session).

-Full payment of tuition and registration fees are required in advance to confirm your registration.  Unused weeks are refundable*  Click HERE* for payment and refund policies.
-*Private Tutoring:  The $15 USD/hour rate is valid if you are taking small-group classes during the same week that you are taking private tutoring.
-*Shared tutoring is for two or more people registering together who will be sharing the same private tutor.

PERSONAL EXPENSES

Apart from tuition and lodging, the following is an estimated budget of what students might spend per week during their stay in Cancun. Please note that, due to varying lifestyle factors, these are only estimates and vary widely.  

  • Excursions: (Mayan ruins, boat cruises, etc)
    • $0 - $100 USD per week
  • Local Transportation:  Buses vs. Taxis
    • $10 - $50
  • Laundry
    • $3 - $10
  • Phone/Internet Cafes:  Internet cafes downtown charge $1.50 - $2.50 per hour. In the hotel zone they are usually $4/hour and up.  International calls using pre-paid phone cards at public phones cost $1 USD per minute and up, depending on destination of call.
    • $3 - $30
  • Misc. Personal Expenses and Entertainment (nightclubs, movies, newspapers, etc.)  These costs can vary widely by individual. 
    • $40 - $140
  • Meals in Restaurants: Restaurants from vary from cheap taco stands and "comida corrida" to expensive gourmet dining.
